1. And now I know a lot more about you.
2. How old were you when you when your parents died?
3. I hate the Red Sox's.
4. What's your first language?
5. How tall is 1.81 meters?
Hey Kev!
1. good
2. I was 20 when my Dad died and my Mom passed away 5 years ago
3. I heart the redsox
4. My first language is Afrikaans which comes from dutch. They came to the Cape in 1652 and Afrikaans kinda evolved from dutch. But we speak english at home, so my English Bulldogs can understand :)
5. It`s about 6 foot.
Kev - you hate the Red Sox...ouch! That stings a bit. I heart them too Francois.
Francois - thanks for sharing all of this. I feel like I could write a book about you now. :-) Maybe one of these days I'll have enough gumption to do the 101 on myself.
Hey Tiffany my Sox Sister!
I suppose the book you`ll write about me will be an Idiots guide to life... :) he he he...
It took a while to get to 101 but I figured what`s the use of posting 50 things when it`s my 101st post? As you can tell I ran out of ideas and just added some "arb" facts.
Look forward to seeing your 101.
I'm impressed. I still haven't finished my 100 things list and I started it months ago.
Francois,
I enjoyed getting to know you better in the 101 post!
Also, I'm flattered that you noticed the silence on my blog!
Never fear, my thoughts are still occurring, I just haven't been able to blog recently due to travel and some nagging illness. There are a couple of posts tumbling about in my head, but have yet to take root in a cohesive manner. I've tried to keep up with my favorite blogs (including yours), and hope to get back into a blogging routine in the next few days.
Thanks for checking in!
Darryl
Francois, you are one cool dude!!
Hey Jenn! I have to admit, I got the 101 idea from your blog!
Darryl, of course I`d notice if one of my favourite bloggers hasn`t posted for more than a week! I`m a junkie in that way.... :)
David, thank you my brother!
Brilliant post Francois, it is always interesting to get to know somebody. I can relate to a fe points, but the amazing thing is that all the points make you a unique person. Thanks for sharing this with us.
You saw Lenny Kravitz? Next time, give him a smooch for me?! Thx.
I speak Dutch!!! Actually Pennslyvania Dutch. Which is a mix of Dutch and German. I only know a few phrases but I'm still proud to know it. My Dad would always say "If ya aint Dutch, ya aint much"
Good job on the 101!
so many things i learned, and so many questions you prompted!
thanks for sharing.
and i'm jealous - i love LIVE!
guess i'll have to remember all the times i've been to fenway and yes, even seen roger clemens pitch (when he was in a sox uniform & still had ethics). but i love LIVE!
do you have a favorite song, and did they perform it? oh, the questions!
Heather, I can understand some dutch but not all of it. I reckon we`ll be able to sort of understand each other, which is pretty cool! Unfortunately you`re on your own on the Lenny thing. Maybe you can get Hayley to help you out there... :)
Lisa, I envy the Fenway thing so much! You have to live my Sox dream for me on that side!
Live absolutely rocks! They are incredible. Did you hear that they have a new cd out? It`s a live album called "Live at the Paradiso". I have been to every cd shop here but it`s not in yet. I`ll keep looking.
My favourite Live songs are Heaven, Lightning Crashes, All Over You, They stood up for love, Dolphins Cry, Turn my head, I alone etc etc!!! I can carry on forever. It was also the first concert that Hayley and I went to watch together. Ed is an incredible performer. One of my favourites.
Which are you favourite Live songs?
Faf, I would definitely agree with number 99 - Ri and I are so fortunate to have you and Hayley in our lives. Now move your butts back to Joburg quickly!!!
Yay! It`s Sally J! Trust me Sal, you guys are one of the main reasons we are moving back to Jhb. It`s really horrible being so far away from your best friends and we miss you guys too much.
Can`t wait for the weekend. It`s gonna be so cool seeing you guys and having a great time as always!
Lots of love
Faf
