this is a group based in nashville (tennessee) who used to recycle shoes, and now they've grown to this. 50,000 in 50 days will be tough, so y'all share with everyone you can, please. $5 for 2 pairs of shoes is great value. most of us would give a $20 bill if the plate was passed physically. keep checking back on the site too. the more progress they have, the sooner charity navigator gets to put them on the approved list of charities w/ responsible stewardship of funds.

I'm going to give up one lunch each week for a while to give 2 pairs of shoes to needy children in our world!
