Why on earth must a pilot be able to swim? Unless of course this low cost airline (who shall remain anonymous) do not have too much faith in their fleet of USED aircrafts. I`d prefer a pilot who couldn`t swim because I know he`ll try his utmost to keep the big bird in the air or away from big lakes, oceans, rivers, estuaries or olympic swimming pools.

LMAO....i agree with "prefer a pilot who couldnt swim"
Definitely a concern that it is in there. Even more so if the requirements are ranked in order of importance because it is pretty close to the top!
Wow, Francois, great observation!
I'd definitely want a pilot who refuses to go for a swim.
Hope you're doing good, my friend.
does this job interest you?
i know rigorous physical tests and psychological tests are in place for u.s. pilots. and after us air landing on/ in the hudson river, i'm glad.
hope you & hayley are well, even though still separate.
10 days until pitchers & catchers report for spring training...GO SOX!
Hey Joanna! I know, it seems to be a pretty big part of the job description which is a major concern to me!
Hey David, yeah we`re doing well here! Hope you and you family are also good?
Hey Lisa! I must be honest I was always a bit of a nervous flyer but after the amount of flying I`ve done in the last 2 years I`m very easy now. So to answer your question, I suppose it would be cool being a pilot but I`ll miss my Sweetie too much!
I wish we could get more coverage of preseason!!
Hello Sweetie! Here`s hoping your pilot tomorrow is a "non-swimmer".... :D
I agree - non swimming pilots!
That's awesome - and I'm with Hayley, I would prefer a pilot who can swim, in case he can't fly.
Hey Pam & Kev, I`m with you guys, non-swimming pilots only!
