SA News - Fresh and Accurate

e.tv's own Bushism 10/02/2009 08:15 - (SA)

Cape Town - e.tv's news channel, eNews, inadvertently reported on Monday that George Bush had died.

The words "George Bush is dead" appeared on the television screen for approximately three seconds shortly after 14:00.

e.tv spokesperson Vasili Vass said the error crept in when the technical director wanted to test what a certain type of banner would look like on the screen.

"Instead of the preview button he pressed the one for direct broadcasting."

Now my question is this. Whatever happened to "testing, testing, 1, 2"?

Clearly Vasilli has some issues with Bush....wonder if that could be construed as a threat? LOL

Yowsa! That's big time.

Sometimes I do wonder if instances like that are an accident...or not.

Either way, that's really something.
